Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website (vickersbc.co.uk) is operated by Vickers Business Centre, Priestley Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG24 9NP, a trading name of ARLO Holdings Ltd (company number 05136643) ("we", "us", "our").
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit or use this website, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. It's written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. The data we collect
We collect personal data in two ways:
Information you give us directly
When you submit an enquiry, waitlist request or contact form on this site, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, telephone number (where given) and the content of your message, along with which office or unit you're enquiring about.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical information when you browse the site — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site (for example, from a Google search or advert). This is collected via cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5 below.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Respond to enquiries and arrange viewings of offices or industrial units
- Communicate with prospective and existing tenants
- Understand how visitors use this website, so we can improve it
- Measure the performance of our advertising (for example, Google Ads campaigns)
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond what's described in this policy.
Our legal basis for processing enquiry data is our legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries about our offices and units, and — where a tenancy results — to take steps towards entering a contract with you. Our legal basis for non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) is your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time — see Section 5.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data to third parties. We do share it with a small number of service providers who help us run this website and respond to your enquiry:
- Resend — delivers enquiry and contact form submissions to our team by email
- Vercel — hosts this website
- Google — provides Google Tag Manager and related analytics/advertising tools (see Section 5)
These providers only process your data on our instructions and in line with their own privacy and security obligations. Some of them (including Google) may process or store data outside the UK, most often in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on legally recognised safeguards, such as the UK-US Data Bridge or standard contractual clauses, to protect your data.
5. Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Tag Manager, which allows us to deploy analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. These tools may set cookies on your device to help us understand how visitors use the site and how effective our advertising is.
We ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set — when you first visit the site, you'll see a banner where you can accept or reject these cookies. Google Tag Manager itself does not load at all unless you accept. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page, or by blocking or deleting cookies through your browser settings.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and contact form data for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch. We don't keep personal data for longer than we need it, and we'll delete or anonymise it once it's no longer required, unless we're required to keep it for longer by law.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Ask us to delete your data, or restrict how we use it
- Object to us processing your data
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
- Ask for your data to be provided to you in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9 below. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
